The teeth are also cut in a spiral to make cleaning and clearing material away much easier. The end is also triangular so you can easy grip it by hand and stash a few in your pockets or tool pouch without being bulky. Performance wise they work a treat and had a dull chain ready to go in 20mins. I also used one while in the middle of a job. A quick 5 minute touch up and we were flying through logs again. They’re great files, cut well into the cutters on my chains, and are very reasonably priced on Amazon. I have drawers full of these things and I love them. Note you will need to buy a corresponding wooden handle it you don’t already own one, unless you’ve got hands like sandpaper and a grip like a vice.
