drama
Our romance was moving along nicely, then WHAM. In comes the drama. Then a bit more. Then quite a bit more. But Riley and Fallon navigate the soap opera fairly well.

More Fallon and Riley and everyone else
From the title, I thought someone was opening up a cigar club in Whiskey Springs. I was wrong, but I did find out about the cigar club. This was fun to read. I had a hard time getting involved in my previous book so I started this one and zipped right through it since it absorbed me from the beginning. This continues Fallon and Riley’s story, and includes their friends and family, including Olivia, Fallon’s ex. The relationships in Fallon’s family are strangely complex but also simple. Andi also deals with some family drama and her own changes. I liked that some of the other characters and their backstories from Open Tab were more developed here. There are a lot of threads being weaved throughout this story. This made me think a lot about family, found family, and love. The line about life being a mixture of chance and choice really resonated. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

MY SECOND READING!
I’ve read just about everything JA Armstrong has published. I love her stories, some more than others. However, the one thing running throughout her books and her series as well, is the endless pontificating. It is tiresome to have every thought, every snippet of dialogue analyzed for any small hint of emotion.I do recommend her books and she is quite a good writer, I just find myself gliding over the endless psycho-babble.

Good continuation…
Buttttt, as a minority, I’m so confused as to why the only called out minority in the book is the villain & then eventually dies? Just why!? Could’ve left everyone uncolored. Aside from that, I did enjoy the story.

Great book
I loved this book. I love how everyone gets a along and looks out for each other. I love that Riley and Fallon are getting closer and there maybe someone for Andi. I can't wait to read the next book.

Very good Sequel
Another good book, this one being a sequel to Open Tab which I had given a 5/5 star rating. Other than the numerous typo mistakes here (especially towards the end), the story with all of the characters from the last book make their appearance here and flow like water. Each character here represents most of us in regards to who we love, how we love, some move slow, some move fast, and so on and that is okay. We are all different and at times complicated even if we don't mean to be and this book captures that really well. I like it!

Them good ole girls were drinking Whiskey and Riley.
I have read both books in the Open Tab series as well as other series from this author and I’d have to say this has become my favorite. The story is rich in characters, passion, romance, and witty comedic relief. All that mixed in with tender, heart breaking moments that brought me to tears made for the perfect weekend read. The only problem I encountered with this story was that I didn’t want it to end. It left me feeling “book swooned”, if that’s even a thing. Until the next edition comes out I will just have to settle with day dreams about visiting Whiskey Springs and enjoying a few margaritas with the lovely patrons at Murphy’s Law. Keep them coming J.A. Armstrong!

It was great to be back in Whiskey Springs!!!
It was great to be back in Whiskey Springs!!!Fallon is keen to prove her love for newest resident Riley, and when she finds the courage to do so she is relieved to the feelings are mutual. Riley heads home to see her family, and while away the revelation hits her that this is no longer her home, and that her heart is securely rooted in Whiskey Springs with Fallon. She heads home, excited to see where the future will lead with Fallon but the past is still haunting them both. Taking things slowly, Riley and Fallon let their love blossom and continue to try to overcome the past demons that keep cropping up, sometimes unexpectedly. This was amazing! I already loved the Whiskey Springs series from reading the first book Open Tab, but now I am completely in love with the place and the characters! It’s such a lovely little community, and Fallon is there, and its undeniable, everyone loves Fallon! And although this story is very much about Fallon and Riley’s relationship, the rest of the amazing cast are on hand to add to all the drama and fun of the spirited little community.Owen, Riley’s little boy was a complete show stealer! If he doesn’t steal your heart like he did Fallon’s, their little moments together will. Fallon with Owen is without a doubt the cutest thing ever, and with Riley they are such a perfect little family. I loved seeing Fallon trip over herself as she is falling madly in love with both Riley and Owen, and planning a little future with them.As always, there was a lot going on in Whiskey Springs, with their friends at the bar, and Andi. Fallon did a lot of ‘grown up’ connecting with Jacob (Andi’s son) and a lot of overcoming her own fears that were potentially holding her back, with Andi’s guidance, of course. I just love the dynamic going on in these stories and can’t wait to see the actual series that JA Armstrong is working hard on. It is going to be just as amazing as the books and I am super excited about it!I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and see where Riley and Fallon’s love is going to take them to next! A great addition to a fantastic series that I can’t recommend enough. It’s lovely, it’s cosy, and it’s like home. Your next stop should definitely be Whiskey Springs, it’s worth the visits!

Better than “Open Tab”
I liked this a lot more than the first in the series, mostly I think because of the progress in Fallon and Riley’s relationship and the honesty about the hurt caused by others past decisions. It was another extremely easy read and I warmed much more to all the characters (apart from one in particular - Boo, hiss!) Lots of love and fun banter and I loved Riley’s spunkiness too. I also liked that it didn’t leave a huge cliffhanger (unlike, I understand, book 3). I think I’ll be waiting for book 4 in the series or another KU deal before I read the next...

Great characters, a lot more than run of the mill romance
The 2nd in a series, a moving and involving main romance, with a surrounded cast of well developed support characters. I cared what happened to them all and their interconnected links, in this small town. Read the first book. These books are vastly superior to the many formulaic lesbian romances, many badly written, poorly spelt that rather insult their audience….

fantastic
I love this series of books, it is so well written you feel part of it, and since it is going to be a television series then it shows the following of the author and her work. She is a very talented author whose characters jump off the page to greet you. Love it, love Whiskey Springs. If I could only keep one book in the world it would be this one.

So well thought out
Right I'm neither a Lesbian or for that matter female, what I am is a male who appreciates well written erotica. And this has got me hooked I totally buy in to the characters and story line its much like the first i nstallment not full of vibrators, Dildos and graphic depictions of full on sex, but instead littered with romance and realism that many writers of erotica could learn from.
