this drill is very usefull lightweight,easy to use 5 star.

Really handy when working under car, especially when trying to drill in engine bay.
It's easier to use this powerful little drill than to try and drat 240volt cords/air lines to the part your working on or to try fitting a conventional gun shaped battery drill into tight spaces.The 10.8 volt battery is always small and if you're working above your head dropping down to the 2Amp battery makes this about as light as you can get a power drill.the speed is controlled by the pressure you put on the trigger and the direction switch id nice and close to the base where you can get to it while manoeuvring the drill into really tight spaces.I've also used this with nut drivers for tightening long bolts quickly, then just giving them that final tweak with a socket or spanner

It does the job, invested on this to do a small kitchen cabinets. At awkward positions.

Excellent product but check before buying because it will only take the small makita batterys
Excellent item . But buyers be aware . This only takes the small Makita batteries not the standard ones that fit most Makita products

Why did I wait so long to get this?
I always buy Makita which says a lot. I have mobility and hand issues so I was really struggling to deal with anything in a tight space. I have a Makita drill/driver but it didn’t fit. I wasted so much time and limited energy trying to fit a metal drawer in a kitchen cupboard, I didn’t have the strength to do it by hand. I bought an angle bit for my drill driver but there was a lot of swearing trying to use thatThis has been a godsend. I wish I’d invested in this earlier. It has enough power behind it and fitting the bits was really easy. I was worried about the weight. It’s slightly lighter than my 14.4V drill driver so quite a bit lighter than an 18V one. It has good power behind it. I’ve been screwing self tapping screws into non pre drilled holes and it accepted the challenge wellIt’s just a bit frustrating having to buy a separate battery and charger but I went for the cheaper non brand one recommended by Amazon which although takes longer to charge, it has kept its charge for a long time
