The percussion heads are surprisingly powerful for their size, but this will not substitute for a deep tissue massage or good old-fashioned back rub. All of the images advertising show this being worn outside of clothing, but the instructions state that it needs to be touching the skin and the skin is not to be excessively dry. One of the Control features on the app appears to create electrical impulses very similar to a TENS unit (so if the contact isn’t correct, it can create a mild stinging sensation). Which is why I believe it needs to touch the skin directly, but is strangely is not advertised anywhere (TENS Feature), and I suppose that is the only thing that’s a little concerning to me. The heat feature on the lowest setting is surprisingly hot to me. My only reservation with this is that it requires a phone app to use.
