Great for creative pics. Well made, a little heavy but amazing value

Wished I purchased one of these years ago. Manual focus only no problem So much you can do with the images. Over the moon. Came packed in boxes inside bags inside boxes. Great packing. First class service fast delivery. Will buy again.

As a photographer you can imagine how much I pay for lenses but in this case I just needed a fun lens just for a dozen shots in London so I was not willing to pay hundreds of pounds for fish eye just to take a dozen shots. After some research I bought this Neewer and took my chances....my verdict is I am pleasantly surprised at the outcome. This verdict is after 100% crop. Sharpness not bad in the centre but soft at the corners which is the norm for many lenses, CA is quite noticable at the contrasting edges (colour fringing) but easily cured in LR, no use checking for Barrel distortion or pin cushion as its 8mm, contrast a little weak but still ok, good colour....remember this is after 100% crop but you would never use crop as its a fish eye...this is a great fun lens and certainly great value for money...very pleased with the purchase...

The glass on these lens is really impressive for the price, the build quality is quite solid and they have a nice feel to them, excellent!

Not bad at all, they are decent enough to go with a good camera, satisfied the results so far.

Purchased as a present for my wife. This lens is a fraction of the price of a branded Fish eye lens.The only issue for the unwary is that none of the electrical functions are present on this lens - so there is no auto focus (not an issue with a Fish eye) and the camera must be used in either manual or aperture priority mode.So far the results have been very pleasing and the lens offers more than acceptable sharpness when stopped down to F 5.6 or F8. So far so good and infinitely better than fish eye attachments which screw into the front of the lens.

I’m happy with the photos but with Canon 70D the hood shows in the photo so you have to remove it. The lens cap is tight and already leaving sticky material on the hood after one day. If you just pull the lens cap off it pulls of the hood too so it’s better to twist and pull. If the longer parts of the hood were over the top and bottom of the shot you wouldn’t see it. But in its fixing position it’s in view across the upper and lower corners. I read a YouTube comment from someone who had the same problem and they said they just turned the hood. On my lens the way the hood fits doesn’t allow it to be turned. I’m hoping for a reply on his message to fix this problem.

Rien à dire, livraison au top ! Attendu pour le lundi, livré le jeudi (précédent).Les plus :- Prix imbattable, objectifs fournis avec housse et pare-soleil- Solidité et qualité des matériaux- Feeling de l'objectif : bonne prise en main, lourd, tout en métal, assez qualitatif. La sensation de la bague de focus est douce et progressive, on sent bien chaque clic avec la bague d'ouverture, très bonne impression.- L'image : Les couleurs sont belles, il y a du détail et beaucoup d'informations dans l'image, l'angle est bien plus important que ce à quoi je m'attendais.Bonne surprise, vu le prix je m'attendais à pire !Les moins :- L'ergonomie : Il est assez difficile de trouver un endroit statique sur l'objectif.On a tendance à faire tourner la bague d'ouverture ou de focus quand on veut mettre ou enlever l'objectif, ce qui rends sa manipulation un peu fastidieuse. C'est surement une habitude à prendre.- La mise au point : La bague de mise au point ne semble pas faire le moindre effet, ou peut-être est-ce trop subtile pour moi.Aussi j'ai remarqué plus de netteté sur la gauche de l'image que la droite, il est possible que ce soit dû à un début de condensation à cause de la proximité de ma main. Faire attention au positionnement de sa main par temps froid donc.- Encombrement : L'objectif est gros, il prend beaucoup de place dans le fourre-tout. Il faut aussi faire attention à la lentille qui est un véritable aiment à particules. On a vite fait d'y mettre les doigts, penser à embarquer un chiffon doux pour des photos plus nettes.Quelques exemples de photos prises avec celui-ci, seules les photos du primeurs sont complètes à 8mm, les autres sont tronquées pour voir ce que ça peut donner après modification (semblant de 10-14mm).Résultats plus que satisfaisant pour sont prix. Objectif très amusant !

Insomma se qualcuno si avvicina per la prima volta al Fisheye questo prodotto e' piu' cge valido per iniziare Buone Foto e Buon Anno.

Buen objetivo para Canon, el efecto ojo de pez es un recurso muy diferente que causa buenas sensaciones, está construido en buenos materiales, como pega no gestiona demasiado bien el ruido si lo fuerzas, pero por lo demás lo recomiendo, por este precio no hay nada igual.Útil si eres un pez.
