Just as expected - we like it
So I bought this for my girlfriend - we love traveling and met while backpacking - she absolutely loves it.. likes the size (although i thought pages a little too small to write in as journal) its good for taking notes.. There's a:- personal data page- double page world map- loyalty cards details- country codes and ER numbers- planning pages / where to go- contents page, to do lists and packing lists..It mainly has 3 sections- ruled pages for notes -- 90 pages- dotted square pages -- 45 pages (not sure what its for seems a waste of pages)- blank pages for scrap book i suppose -- 30 pagesMy fav is the world map, loyalty cards pages, country codes and ER nos - will come in handy for sure

It appears to be the great quality you expect of Moleskine
I bought this as a gift, so I can't personally attest to its function. It appears to be the great quality you expect of Moleskine. I bought it for my dad who travels a lot, and has a big upcoming trip. It seems well organized and I like the feature that allows you to print itinerary and keep it all contained neatly in one space. Hopefully he finds it helpful

Small notebook worked better for me.
Got this for a trip I took to Europe in September. I had high hopes of using it to log my thoughts and observations as I traveled around by myself. I quickly found that a small spiral bound notebook worked better for me. It was easier to carry (in my back pocket) and I could stick a pen down the spiral binding. The lack of something to do with a pen with these Moleskin books is a bit of a challenge if you want to travel compactly.

Light colored print
It is a nice little journal. I will enjoy documenting my trip into this book. My only issue is printing is very light in color which makes it difficult to see.

I love it. Great travel companion and great size!
Great book. Great size. I love the little additions they've put into it like the three color straps and the different sections. My only complaint is that they took up the first pages with instructions on how to load your pages online, etc.. That could've been an insert of some sort instead of wasting valuable real estate in the book.

Kind of an odd size, but should fit in well on my trip to Scotland in June 2015. All the regular niceties you expect from Moleskine, just wish they would bump up the paper weight 10 grams or so, so my fountain pens wouldnt bleed through.

Good Journal
Took this with me on a trip through Italy. Very nice and easy to pack around. I wish it was a little bigger, but that's really my only complaint.

I quite like it....
Actually I'm finding this Moleskine (my first for the record) to be quite good, not sure why the other two reviews only gave it two stars? It's actually quite good, for general use; not just as a travel journal. The comparison to the Midori Travelers Notebook is a false one to make as they are two different beasts. The Moleskine is far more factory customised for travelling with dedicated pages for travelling, time zone maps, booking info, places to go, places I've been, packing lists, to do lists etc etc. There are dedicated colour coded sections - Gray for lined, red for dotted & burgundy for plain paper. These are meant for your travelling note, sketches etc etc. But in honesty can be used for just about anything, it's a steal at the current price of £13 or so.
