The handles are strong and show no sign of breaking off. The wide-aperture throats and secure fasteners are ideal for filling and for transporting water. Certain plastics react with petrol and can soften and can pose a Fire risk. Plus if carried in a vehicle must be no larger than one gallon (4.5 lts) or 2 gallon if metal. **Q: How good are the handles on these?
