Great tracker bad service from Vodafone
It’s a good tracker but forget Vodafone, their service is terrible, use it with a different network”s sim.First of all it came with no sim. So I got on to Vodafone chat and ended up sending it back. I ordered another one and that too came with no sim (it says sim included on the box) I got back in touch with Vodafone chat, this time they told me that the sim is built into the device, called an eSim Even though there is an empty sim slot and the instructions show you how to insert a sim. Anyway, they couldn’t activate this eSim and told me to take it to a Vodafone shop.I went to a Vodafone shop in my local shopping mall and after waiting for ages and explaining I’d only had it a day and it was bought from Vodafone’s own Amazon shop! they told me there was nothing they could do, they couldn’t even provide (or try!) m a data only sim for it and I should send it back again! I left the shop very disheartened and p***ed off with Vodafone. I walked past an EE shop on my way out of the mall and just on the off chance I popped in and saw a member of staff. Wow what a difference in attitude! They were so helpful, they opened the device for me and added one of their data sims, switched it on and it worked!! First time and has operated fine ever since on the EE data sim. I’m very happy with the tracker and with EE, just not happy with Vodafone or their service. The tracker is really good. I use it in my daughters school bag. You can set boundary alerts that allow you to see when she enters and leaves a certain area and I can see where she is on a map. The battery lasts 3 or 4 days and is charged by a usb micro cable.

Vodafone V Bag is great.
Really good.to set up take it outside and do it with MoveTrack. Once it is set up unless you turn it off it will track automatically. A recommended product

Lost it!!
Lost it with too wide a range to find it ! And then battery died so lost forever. Bye bye £55. And still paying monthly fee for nothing!!

An exercise in frustration
Maybe you'll get lucky with this. We didn't.Okay, first of all, make sure you're on a Vodafone UK contract, and that you're happy to pay a few pounds a month subscription for the service for this. Secondly, while the tracker unit itself isn't too huge (35 mm square by about 16mm deep), the blue holder supplied is rather bulky. This makes securing items discretely - or using the device with a pet - something of a challenge. It could be good with a larger dog, though.Other than that, it's great ... when it works. It frequently loses connection with the network/satellite - and when this happens it's never reconnected automatically. This is not worth it for me - I'm giving up!

Brilliant!
I bought the V-Bag tracker for my mother who suffers from dementia. She had gone missing twice already and we need to know where she is at all times. It was relatively easy to set up and several people now are able to access the account to know where she is. The fence and safe zone are excellent because it alerts me as soon as she leaves the area highlighted by me. There is a battery icon on the web site which shows exactly how much power is left, reminding us to charge it up. The map apt is very clear and accurate. The only down side is that the holder is a little big, however, we have attached it to my mother's walking frame, something she always goes out with. Originally we had planned to attach it to her keys but found it too big. The alarm once went off in error saying that she was somewhere she was not, but I would rather have ten false alarms than not have the V Bag tracker and not know where my mother is. Vodafone should definitely market these devices for families like mine with an elderly dementia sufferer, as this have made our life so much easier not having to worry every time my mother goes out. £3 per month. worth every penny. Thank you Vodafone!
