I drove around for a few days and didn't notice it until after my car sat out all day in 90 degree heat. By then the smell was bad enough to get my attention through my affliction of not being able to smell, plus it was really set in, leather seats and all. I tried several odor removal methods, specially meant for removing organic odor, including steam cleaning every surface inside the car multiple times. Nothing was getting rid of the smell. I thought for sure I was going to have to get rid of the car. I read about Ozone and how it removes odor, at a molecular level, by attaching to H2o molecules and creating oxidation to eliminate odors. It penetrates deep into the upolstery and if you run your AC while doing it, it will also clean your vents and ducting out. I ran the machine for an hour in the cabin and another hour in the trunk and it helped tremendously, but it wasn't until I did a 4 hour cycle two night in a row, in both the cabin and the trunk the order was removed completely. **Q: Can this fix global warming?**

**Q: will it get rid of gym clothes smell?**
A: We bought this within the last 2 weeks. We are landlords and had a condo where the person had smoked 9 years inside the unit. Scrubbing, painting top to bottom, spending several hundred dollars to have the HVAC system cleaned did not eliminate the stale smoke smell. We let this ozone generator run continuously for two days and the smell was gone. We are 100% pleased. If it can eliminate our smoke smell, it should handle the gym clothes odor with no problem.

**Q: How long do you use it for in a car? Do you run the ventilation system in the car , recirculate, while it’s running?**
A: As for the question about ozone production, the oxygen concertration in the car is pretty enough for the treatment. Also, ozone is extremely reactive, which readily attaches itself to other molecules. When odors, bacteria or viruses meet ozone, oxidation reactions occur and both parties are destroyed. Ozone essentially reverts back to oxygen. Therefore, it's no need to place it outside the car to get more oxygen. We put it inside, close doors and windows, operate for 15-30 minutes per time, and once or twice a week. Yes, we run the ventilation system in the car while it's running. It can also disinfect the air conditioning system. Last but not least, remember to open doors and windows to make sure the remaining ozone is consumed thoroughly before you get back in the car.

**Q: Can this item be shipped to California? I’ve tried to add it to my account but it keeps telling me there’s a shipping problem**
A: I had this same problem and ended up having to buy direct from Home Depot and then picked it up. For whatever reason Amazon wouldn´t ship it to me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best gadget I ever bought off of Amazo…

I have had Amazon Prime for 20 years. Of all the items I purchased, this is the best gadget I’ve ever purchased. I had an issue with a couple of orders, one with my car and another in my garage. I tried simple remedies at first using regular vinegar to get rid of the smell most of the time it worked, but this particular time it didn’t work for the car and from my garage. I searched and read reviews and decided to go with this specific model. Based on the positive reviews they had left. My car is about a year old and my sister had cooked some food and laid it down on the front seat with a tray. The liquid part of the food dripped onto the seat and down the seat to the rug in on the floor. The liquid was a mixture of cabbage and other vegetable vegetables. On a hot day, the cart would stink. I tried everything under the sun Lysol vinegar you name it I tried it. Nothing worked. My garage had somewhat of a musty smell and it’s also where we keep our litter box and we keep it clean. I put the ozone generator right up to the seat where the spill occurred and I set it for an hour. I did this twice. It worked. There’s no smell in the car right now. It’s quite neutral. I also used it in the garage and it worked there too. To explain how this works from my understanding I’ll break it down in simple terms. It’s an ozone generator which means it has three oxygen atoms. The third oxygen atom is unstable and wants to cling to things, and it will cling to organic matter thus becoming O2. All odors are of organic matter and that’s why this device works so well to break up the organic matter with that oxygen atom. It is best to seal the room or space that you’re working in. The manual says that if you do breathe in the air in the room after you use it, it can’t irritate your respiratory tract. It didn’t seem to bother me that much. When you use it, you have to make sure pets and people are not in the room and afterward, you wanna make sure you adequately air out the area by opening windows and making sure air circulating. The smell that’s left over is somewhat unique almost like a dentist's office smell smells clean or a doctor's office sort of like that smell if I could best describe it. I’ve lent it to my brother and my sister, and they love it. If you have a space or room where you need to get rid of a smell, this is the item to get in my opinion.
