Seems very stury like it will last a long time long as it's treated right. Favorite feature is that you can remove the top of the inside to clean it, and rice comes out perfect every time (note: I don't use the water measurements on the pot, I check with a finger). The pot is also very smooth and really easy to clean (dry rice needs to soak for a couple minutes to get it off but still relatively easy).
