It is extremely bright and I use it outdoors. It works well with jpegs as well as videos. I have used it at many events and get togethers and it is very novel and popular with guests. The software once you get used to it is quite intuitive to use and very comprehensive. Customer service is very responsive. The two times I interfaced with them I had my issues resolved within an hour.
