Not Impressed
Not genuine. Been wearing 501's for 25 years. These are made in Poland not the usual places. Poor shape, poor finish. Poor measurement. Do not recommend and I will not be buying them here again. Badge sewn in wrong place, holes not stitched properly + buttons too big for the holes. Leg too long. Stitching incomplete, oversized buttons.

So much choice, but 501's a-okay...
I managed to get this pair at a very reasonable price versus shop bought. The fit was as expected if only because I have darker shade of the 501, so there were no surprises. So far as colour versus picture, I'd say the Balboa is an accurate reflection in real life. I dock a star because there's a stone wash line down the rear lower leg, but it wasn't bad enough for me to return, considering the price.Even though I hate button fly I keep coming back to Levi's. It just takes a while for the buttons to loosen up! If you get a good price, go for it!

Not as heavy as I expected.
After 10 years the pair of 501's my brother brought me back from New York decided to finally give up, and split over both knees. I thought that was quite impressive for a pair of genuine American Levi jeans bought in America. I bought these to replace the old ones and I believe they are genuine 501's. However, although the quality of manufacture is not in doubt, the denim of today is not comparable with the denim of 10 years ago. It is a noticeably thinner gauge denim. Maybe because I haven't bought a pair of 501's in 10 years the drop in thickness of denim is more noticeable. These jeans are not going to last 10 years. But I do like these Levi's, they have Levi's quality and they fit me as I expected them to so I'm happy. The washing instructions label say's they are Made in Pakistan, so I looked at the label in my old 501's, from New York remember? Made in Turkey, go figure!

Terrible customer service. Poor quality product
The jeans were tighter than other 501's I have bought in the past.I had worn them less than 10 times when two of the buttons on the fly fell off just under normal use. I have worn Levis for years and this has never happened even to very old jeans. Clearly these are not manufactured to the same standards they use to be. I would certainly not buy from this company again and probably not by Levis again based on this experience. The customer service was terrible, I was offered 10 euros to put this right!!

A Great Deal On Sale
What can I say? These are some very nice jeans indeed. As a disclaimer, I got these on an Amazon Daily Deal so it was 50% off the RRP, and at that price, they were a bargain. Heck, they were cheaper than a pair from Next or Burtons and far better quality.I know there are lots of reviews stating that Levi's have dropped in quality in the past few years, and it's true that these aren't as sturdy as some of the older styles, but at half price they were a hell of a bargain.

Sizing way out
Wish I’d read the reviews. Definitely something not quite right about these, the sizing is way out. At least 2 sizes too small. Avoid.

Good quality
There are many Levi's jeans on amazon and the quality varies - these were good and thick material - I suspect genuine - only had one pair where I doubt that they are truly levi's. Good prices generally. So the moral is buy if they are cheap and return if quality not up to scratch.

So so
Good quality. Jeans, in my mind, come in three categories. Ones that just don't fit, ones that fit sort of OK, not perfectly, but good enough not to return and ones that you can rip the labels off as soon as you've tried them on because it appears they were tailor made for your particular dimensions. These Levi's come into the middle category for me, they don't quite fit perfectly, they catch my knees and ride down a little. Add a belt and they're better, but I prefer not to wear a belt, so .... they'll do!
