I plan to keep one strictly for desserts and the other as a spare to the one that came with my pot. They really do pick up the smell of the foods cooked in the pots, so I'm glad to have the extra for sweets. One minor issue is the original gasket fits loosely in the lid for easy removal during cleaning. This one fits very tightly, so is more difficult to remove and install for cleaning.
