Great product, the design makes it postable which is great. I take these when im feeling down and they definitely help.Only possible downside with ALA is it gives you the strongest asparagus pee you could imagine!

I'm not sure if these supplements make any difference but I thought it was worth a try. I was hoping they would help my smell and taste return after covid. So far I've been taking these supplements (two a day) for around two months and have had a very slight improvement to my sense of smell and taste but this may be due to other supplements, smell training, or just time healing things in general. I will carry on taking them in the hopes that they help as I'm not experiencing any negative side effects.The packaging is not great as they come in a plastic tub sealed by foil only therefore once opened you can't seal the container again. I put the tablets in another container which solved the issue but it would be better if they arrived in a resealable tub like most pills tend to!

These easy to swallow white capsules have a medium dose of 300mg which, as far as I can find out, is adequate for most people to take. There's some debate about the benefits of taking alpha-lipoic acid supplements but they appear to be safe, although I always ask my GP before taking additional pills in case they interfere with meds I'm already on. If you think this supplement will benefit you these are reasonable value for money. They come from an established source and arrive in a letterbox-friendly plastic box (which doesn't have any recycling information on it).

The description on this page is accurate, so I won’t repeat what is said. The 120 capsules are each about 2.3cm long and easy to swallow. You need to take 1-2, so there are enough capsules in the container to last 60-120 days.The capsules I received have a best before date of 15 months from the time I received them.These supplements come in a container that is 10cm wide, 18.1cm tall and 2.2cm deep. I love this style of container as opposed to the usual round bottles. It allows you to easily store multiple containers next to each other without wasting any space. It also means that when ordering they fit easily through the letterbox. My only wish is that they would put a label with the name of the product on at least one of the sides, that way you can store multiple containers like books on a bookshelf and know exactly what product you are picking out. I get around this by writing the name on the side with a marker but a label would be much more convenient.The lid is easy to remove and replace, and the seal was also easy to peel off when I first opened the container. Due to the shape of the container it is easy to dispense one or two capsules at a time, by having it on it’s side as you tip them out.These supplements are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. ALA is a supplement I've taken in different forms on and off over the years primarily for better energy levels/breaking down carbs and turning them into fuel but it's also a great anti inflammatory and good for getting the most out of your vitamin C and E intake, too. If you're not sure if this is right for you or not then do research properly first or consult a professional. If you're already confident about the benefits of ALA and know it's the right supplement for you then this is a good value decent strength option as they'll last around 4 months taken at the recommended minimum of one a day (which is outstanding value) or if you're confident taking more/need to take the maximum recommended two a day then they'll last around a couple of months which is still great value for decent ALA, so would recommend and very pleased with them!

I'm a huge fan of the slimline bottle as it's so much easier to store. The supplements themselves are easy to swallow and don't cause me any ill effects. They're very reasonably priced.
