Sexy DSLR Moto G5s Plus
Straight to the Point hello motoUpdated review:Top 37 Reasons to buy this phone.Do this Read carefully before you buy this Phone I'm reviewing in-depth review starting with Performance.Pros:i) Snapdragon 625 chipset 2GhZ octacore processorDesigned by: QualcommInstruction set :ARMMicroarchitecture: ARM11, Cortex-A5, Cortex-A7, Cortex-A53, Cortex-A57, Cortex-A72, Scorpion, Krait, Kryo.ii)Cores: 8Using big LITTLE technology, a chip can switch between two sets of processor cores in order to maximise performance and battery life. For example, when playing a game the more powerful cores will be used to increase performance, whereas checking email will use the less powerful cores to maximise battery life.iii)TOTAL CLOCK SPEED: 8 × 2GHziv)SUPPORTS 64-BITA 32-bit operating system can only support up to 4GB of RAM. 64-bit allows more than 4GB, giving increased performance. It also allows you to run 64-bit applications.V)4GB RAM, 2.4 GB availableIt means you'll not found any lag on this device. Applications works smoothly.Vi)64GB internal, available 51 GBLot's of stuffs to add day to day life storage is necessary now a days. 51 GB is more than enough I think for all. But it may vary as per user use.Vii)5.5 inch having 1080 × 1920 Pixel display:The viewing angles are excellent, no color distortions are detected. Brightness adjustment range is sufficient. Adaptive brightness control works without problems. There are two modes of displaying colors: "Normal" and "Bright" . Also there is a night mode that automatically can lower the brightness of the backlight and turn the display into warm color rendering for using the smartphone in the dark for a user-defined time.Viii)401~ ppiIx)8 mm slimX)506 Adreno GPU good for heavy gaming and high end graphicsXi)13+13MP dual DSLR Rear camerahaving dual LED flash you can check out my pics for effects.and also added features like Geo-tagging, Auto HDR, Professional Mode, 4K Ultra HD video capture (30 fps), Slow Motion video, Burst mode, touch focus, face detection, auto-HDR, panorama and depth mode. Awesome features I can say.Dynamic range of photos is average. Descent of the camera is fast. Claims for the work of autofocus did not arise. Only here the macro shot on the machine is almost impossible to obtain, the smartphone can not focus, when the object is too close to the lens. It is possible to activate the manual mode, in which you must rotate the focus adjustment slider. The result for the main camera is simple: the camera is good. The maximum video resolution that Moto G5S can record is 1920 × 1080 pixels at 30 fps. The quality of the output rollers is quite good. Electronic stabilization in place. There is a slow-motion mode, but the resolution of such videos is only 960 × 540.The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels (f / 2.0), a wide angle and a flash. It is also good, but not outstanding. The camera application is extremely simple and convenient. Additional settings and shooting modes are few. In professional mode, you can adjust the focus, white balance, shutter speed, ISO and exposure settings. As a gallery, Google Photos is used.Talking about image quality, Moto G5s Plus camera captured decent results in all sorts of situation. We were impressed with the phone's quick focusing, and managed to get some decent macro shots. Daylight landscapes looked detailed, with punchy colours, although some results were oversaturated. In low light, photos had some noise, and at times appeared too grainy. This was mostly when there was very little light around. We personally liked the Professional mode on the Moto G5s Plus which let us adjust settings like the white balance, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation, and manual focus.Xii)4k recording supportXiii)8MP front camera having LED flashMoto G5s Plus front camera surprised us with its colour accuracy with adequate light, but results were just average in low-light situations. We noted the lack of filters in the default camera app. The camera on the Moto G5s Plus is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, which is a big advantage at this price point. You also get full-HD video recording at 30 and 60fps. 4K videos look better than full-HD ones.Xiv)Turbo Charger:What makes the phone different is that it comes with Motorola's Turbo charger in the box. The Turbo charger can output a 2.1 Amp charge at 9V or 15V depending on the compatibility of the phone.Motorola claims that with just a 15 minute charge, the Moto G Turbo Edition can deliver up to 6 hours of usage. In our tests, we noticed that the battery went from about 10% to 40% after about 20 minutes of being plugged in.That's good enough for half a day of use for most users. In order to prevent you from using low quality cables that affect charging speed, the charger has a permanently attached cable. Now about charging. The power adapter is capable to charge G5S plus from 0% to 50% approximately in 30 minutes, and to 100% the smartphone will be charged for 1 hour ~ 50 minutes.XV)Water repellent with nano coatingXvi)Moto Gestures:A preloaded Moto app allows you to enable or disable various gesture shortcuts, similar to what we've seen in earlier Moto phones. Some of the signature Moto gestures include a double "karate chop" to toggle the torch, a twist to quickly launch the camera, and a flip for 'Do not disturb.' One-button Nav allows you to tap or swipe the fingerprint sensor instead of reaching for the Android navigation buttons. You can use the Moto G5s Plus fingerprint sensor to lock the phone as well - just place a finger on it (not necessarily the finger that's registered). If you prefer, you can choose to make the screen smaller for one-handed use and improve reachability.Xvii)The smartphones feature AI-based Google AssistantBoth smartphones come with company's Moto Display featureOne Button Nav allows users to navigate screens with fingerprint scanner.Xviii)Dual 4GThe Moto G5s Plus supports two Nano-SIMs, both of which can connect to 4G networks, though only one at a time. NFC, VoLTE, and GLONASS are also supported. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery, and supports TurboPower fast charging. It measures 150.2x74x7.7mm.Xix)Android 7.1.1 Nougat Stock Android experience:Xx)The stock Android Nougat experience can be a very important reason for buyers to choose this phone over others. Most competitors have their own manufacturers' custom skins, including the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Honor 6X and Lenovo's non-Moto models. Android Nougat offers several features including split-screen multitasking, and we were able to run two apps simultaneously.Xxi)You can also multitask quicker by just double tapping on the Recents button, and set a separate wallpaper for your lock screen. To avoid confusion with Google's Daydream VR, Android's Daydream feature has now been renamed Screen Saver; there's a Clear All button in the recent apps list; and new animations including one for the Quick Settings toggles make the UI more fluid. Nougat groups notifications from a single app, and users can set priority levels for app notifications. A Moto G5s Plus feature called Data Saver restricts specific apps from using cellular data in the background, the Settings app has a new menu on the left for easier navigation, and last but not least, you get new emojis.Xxii)Motorola Moto G5S Plus offers versions such as XT1803 , XT1805 (Europe) , XT1806 (USA) , It comes with Sound Alert types such as Vibration , MP3 , WAV ringtones , It includes a loudspeaker , It presents 3.5 mm jack and it provides you with a superb active noise cancellation with dedicated mic .best phone I can say for this feature.Xxiii)Motorola Moto G5S Plus supports Comms WLAN such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n , dual-band , Wi-Fi Direct , hotspot , It presents Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP , LE , EDR , It contains GPS , with A-GPS , GLONASS.Xxiv)Cornilla gorilla glass 3: scratch resistant so no worry about breaking the glass.XxV)Night display:it's very useful in night reading.Xxvi)NFC: useful for faster payment.Xxvii)Fingerprint scanner:The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen. As usual the scanner is fast, omnidirectional and works almost without errors. In addition to the standard application of the scanner, like unlocking a smartphone and authorizing payment for purchases and entering applications, the scanner is able to replace the on-screen buttons. In this case, the screen controls are disabled, thereby freeing up space on the screen, and all management of the system goes to the scanner. Function settings are carried out in the proprietary Moto application.I did this with the initial setup. Of course, you need time to get used to the gestures of control, because you can not customize them to your liking - it works only according to the prepared "script" from the manufacturer: on a short tap, we get to the desktop, a long touch will block the smartphone, even longer - will cause Google Now. For backward actions and multitasking, scapes are used on the scanner left and right (or vice versa, there is a choice). The solution, frankly, is very controversial. Again, no one forbids the use of on-screen buttons. But, of course, I would like to be able to choose and customize gestures for myself.Xxviii)Sound: I was satisfied with the sound from all sources of the smartphone. The spoken speaker is moderately loud, the interlocutor is audible very well. The main speaker is also good. The volume will be enough if not for everyone, then for the majority it's for sure. The sound is voluminous and quite high-quality. The sound of incoming call and notification do not miss.In headphones, the sound is also good. But the volume of some users may not be enough. There is an equalizer and various effects of sound, but you should not expect a particularly good result.Great sound quality I can say overall.Xxix)Sensors:Accelerometer, Gyroscope, ambient light sensorXxx)RadioXxxi)Full sleek metal body constructionXxxii)Noise cancellation works well during phone calls.Xxxiii)Bluetooth 4.2Xxxiv)Sexy lookSecurity: Screen lock can be used as1) Fingerprint lock2)Pin3)Swipe4) PasswordSmart Lock: Moto Provide some high security features like1)On body detection: just unlock once and device stays unlocked as long as its in motion.2)Trusted Places:You can add Trusted place so your phone will be unlocked at specific place.3)Trusted Device:You can add Trusted Bluetooth device near you to keep this device unlocked when connected. Bluetooth connections have a range of upto 100 meters.4)Trusted Face:This will unlock your phone by looking at camera. Device will recognize your face and unlocked automatically but you to set your face on some more light to recognized.5)Trusted voice: just say hello Google and it will unlocked your phone.Best Feature: If you're writing something on Google chrome and suddenly you came back it will allow you to go forward and your written matter will not erase. It will stay as it as. I really liked this feature.Updates: Moto devices is always up to date and that's the reason this Moto G5s plus will get update of Latest upcoming Android orio 8 update !Xxxv)FAQ?1) Does This phone heats up?It has turbo power charger so it can charge fast so that The phone will heats up while charging but it's absolutely normal while you're charging. So No need to worry about that. when you disconnect the charger it'll cool. And stay cool.2) Depth Camera takes time to capture photos? Not actually, Moto working on it and it has an update. Go to Google play store and download Moto camera 2 and Moto photo editor as well as camera tuner for G5s plus. So the Moto camera works like a charm ;)Xxxvi)Cons: headphones not upto mark but you can use other good quality headphones. So you'll not get disappoint.Hybrid slot but it has 64GB internal so no worry about storage. Can't output to tv.Doesn't have a compassNon-removable batteryXxxvii)Final verdict: you'll get high end specification at 16k, don't think go for it.built quality is very premium. even this phone beats Moto z, Moto z2 play, V5 plus, v5s plus, v7 plus, redmi 4, Honor 6x, mi a1 , iPhone 7,8, 8+ and many more because many high end phone under 50k to 75k price range provide such features. So Bhai log Paisa vasool phone Hai yaar le lo guys.Hello Moto ;)After using 2 months this phone I didn't found any issue.. phone works really nice no problem till yet found go for it..Moto working on their updates and firstly I found 6 sec to take depth camera capture. But after few updates it reduced to 1 and half second that's really amazing. Please let me know if you like this review.Happy shopping! :)

A great overall phone for the price
I purchased the lunar grey model on 6th October as I feel the gold color trend is a bane to the smartphone industry and I utterly hate the color on a smartphone. I feel that it is a cheap way to make people think that a phone is premium. The lunar grey on the other hand really looks premium. Anyways, coming to the review, I have extensively used the phone for 15 days and have clicked more than 200 photos with its camera. I will break it down into 7 major categories in which a smartphone has to do well in order to become a good phone. The categories will be:1. Build quality, Look and feel2. Display3. Performance4. Battery5. Media experience6. Software experience7. PhotographyLet's get started.1. Build quality, Look and feel: Off the bat, the build quality of the phone is very good and the phone is solid and premium thanks to its full metal construction. The weight is well balanced and the phone does not feel heavy. The rounded corners help in ease of use and one hand usage is fairly possible even for medium hands. The phone does look premium and slick and the satin finish on the back is amazing. The return of the moto dimple is a welcome addition and feels nice. The camera hump is present but that is the design direction motorola has chosen to go in and we should respect that. At least it helps in making the phone standout. Overall, full marks to moto for bringing us a premium G device finally.2. Display: The display is plenty sharp and has good viewing angles, even in direct sunlight. It brightens up pretty well and I had no qualms with it. The colors look fine and there is nothing to complain about.3. Performance: The snapdragon 625 is a proven midrange processor and although we would have loved it if the 's' editions had gotten a performance bump, it works without any hiccups. The processor handles everything perfectly fine even after keeping many apps in the background. The 4GB ram does help here and I had no issues with the phone's performance barring some rare force closes of some apps. Gaming was also not a problem and I played Riptide GP renegade in ultra graphics without any lags.4. Battery: This is a category where I feel moto should have definitely given a bump to the 's' edition due to its bigger screen size. Although not a deal breaker, the 3000mah battery is just fine, nothing extraordinary. You will have to top it up at the end of the day if you don't want to charge the phone overnight, and here comes the balancing act from moto: the turbocharger. It is fast and it will help you top off your battery really quickly. So this category is somewhat a mixed bag.5. Media experience: The audio from the bottom firing speaker is fine. Would have been better if they had combined it with the earpiece by making it a speaker as in the moto g5 plus. The video experience is also fine and nothing bad or great to talk about.6. Software experience: This is where motorola excels totally. The near stock android is great and I feel that it should be the only UI for android. Alas, the customization that android provides is a double edged sword and people seem to like many custom skins, and that is fine. But if you like stock android, then moto g5s plus won't disappoint you. The UI is fluid and buttery smooth and the MOTO ACTIONS and the MOTO DISPLAY are amazing add-ons which I cannot live without now. The front mounted fingerprint sensor is fast and it is way more functional than a rear mounted fingerprint sensor as you can turn the phone on without even picking it up from a table. The one button nav functionality of the sensor is also great and I use it and I got used to it within a day. All in all the software experience is superb.7. Photography: Most of you would be looking for this category and let me tell you, please don't believe any negative reviews based on the camera quality of moto g5s plus. The portrait mode, which is the highlight of the phone works amazingly well. I am going to attach a lot of samples and you can look for yourself. The normal camera is also good and has good dynamic range, The only con for the camera is the shutter lag. Yes, it is present even in the normal mode and gets worse in the portrait or depth mode but it can be improved by software updates. The portrait mode shots in good lighting came out beautiful and I have no problems with the camera, in fact I loved the camera on this phone barring the shutter lag. I am not very much into video making so I cannot exactly comment on it. The front camera has a wide lens and has the flash to support it and works very well. The cameras obviously falter in low light conditions but I think most of the phones in this price range do. So overall the cameras are very good on this phone. So to sum it up, I would say the Moto G5s plus is a complete package and I love the device. It is one of the best if not the best phone under 16K in India. I loved the build, look and feel of the phone. The performance is smooth and the stock android is fluid. Battery could have been a little better but the turbocharger helps in this regards. I absolutely love the moto actions and moto display as well as the one button nav features. The cameras are amazing especially for human portrait shots. Normal photos are also great. The camera experience can be further enhanced by software updates. So here you go, read this review and make an informed decision
