Oak Leaf Grape Ivy Plant - Cissus rhombifolia - 6" Hanging Pot

The cuttings were pretty sad when they arrived, and all of them ended up dying. Shipping plants is hard, I'm sure the ivy looked good when it left.. I bet they would've done better if I'd just set them in glasses of water to sprout roots rather than the method they suggested. Soil can be a tough medium for new cuttings, there should have been alternate suggestions for keeping them alive.

I have ordered two plants just in case one would not survive a long trip to Alaska. I have received way healthier plants than I ever saw at the local nurseries. Not only the shipping was very fast, but the handling of the plants was excellent. Both were properly packed in a box large enough not to damaged branches. And I also found a bag with some sort of a warmer, which I found very thoughtful since my address clearly stated - Alaska! I highly recommend this seller to everyone who wants healthy live plants. I received this plant today,and although the post office did their best to destroy it, it came in beautiful. Only lost a minor bit of soil, but that was thanks to the fab packing job. Makes me feel like this seller really does care about the plants and what is shipped out. I have bought many plants from this seller, and am always happy. This plant is healthy, new growth and just as full as the picture. A truly beautiful plant, and I am very lucky to have it.

Very disappointed in these two plants. All the growth was on one side making them very lopsided. Many of the leaves had black spots and many of the tips were dead.

I received this item not too long ago and it is flourishing..graceful and elegant. I have recently transplant my ivy into a creamy white ceramic pot with attached saucer I bought from Hirts as well..I have it trailing upwards now. I have placed several orders with Hirts and have yet to be disappointed..they back there items 100% without question..order with peace of mind.
