I Have to say I was pleasantly surprised the issue was 100% fixed on the new unit. The knobs hold their position and focus well. The keyston adjustment is still a little odd, but it holds where you put it. The device is very small and not super bright, but i feel you get what you pay for with this device as far as a small projector. I tested the iOS mirroring and while it works for some things it blacks out video when streaming form some apps (Disney+, for example). I tested it over HDMI from my iPad using a USB-C hub with HDMI out I have and that worked perfectly, sound was synchronized properly and everything. The keystone seems to only do top to bottom adjustment, and not side to side. The sound quality from this is again decent for the price. I have updated my original rating from 1 star to 4 stars. While this might not be a super high end device it’s a pretty fun projector for the cost. Could be ideal for the kids to use for a sleepover, etc. There are other projectors that are brighter, have auto-focus/keystone, and streaming services built in, but they are larger and cost at least twice what this one does.
