You cannot tell the items are there without pulling it apart or looking closely. Otherwise my son loves this toy. He did the experiment and was amazed by the smoke effects. You can also “redo” the experiment with your own ingredients as much as you’d like (without smoke eventually as it will run out but I believe you can reorder that as well).
