We’ve made about 10, and my kids love to carry them around and play with them. So far we have not had any break apart, so the string that came with seems durable (the thicker cord, not sure on the skinny stretchy string). The directions are fairly easy to follow as well.

Awesome, easy to use, and SO many different designs that are super easy to follow! Only complaint is that about t of the plastic hooks arrived smashed to bits, but everything was so awesome I don't even care, plus it comes with better metal ones anyway.
