Fisher-Price Octonauts Figure 5-Pack The Vegimals

My 4 year old daughter loves the Octonauts. We have just about every Octonaut toy and Gup and they get the most use out of any toys in our house. This is a nice set of the Vegimals characters to use with the other Octonauts toys. Just one item of note that we didn't know when we bought it. These figures are different than the other Octonaut figures that are sold. They are about the same size, but they are squeezy, hollow type figures with no movable appendages. They aren't like the other solid figures. My daughter doesn't care. She plays with them all the same. Just be aware so you aren't surprised when they arrive. Other than that, they are a nice addition to the collection.Just a price note to be aware of, the MSRP according to the Fisher Price Web Site is $8.00. Some Secondary Amazon Sellers charge much more.

My 2 year old is obsessed with the Octonauts. So for his birthday I bought him these. They are squishy. Not hard plastic like the other Octonauts figures. Which makes for great times “yo! Get Tunip out of your mouth!!!” “Hey! We don’t flush Codish!” “Good Lord child! Halibeet does not like to go flying across the living room!!!”Overall, totally a great buy! Plus they float in bodies of water like the bath tub, toilet bowl and kiddie pools!

My kid has been on an Octonaut kick, and she used gift money for  Fisher-Price Octonauts Octo-Crew 8 Figure Pack  and  Fisher-Price Octonauts Gup B Playset . She loved them, so I ordered these because the Vegimals are adorable little things. These seemed like great toys to go with the 8 Figure Pack, which is why I bought them. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. As standalone toys they are okay. They are soft (eraser-like...sort of) toys with no moving parts. They are detailed and even come with a little information sheet explaining each of the characters and what the heck vegetable they were spawned from (weirdest GMOs ever). My problem, which might not apply to many people, is that they are completely different from the other Octonaut toys which can sit up and move. Maybe it is partially an issue of scale, but it seems like the Vegimals could be made slightly bigger yet still like the other toys. My daughter plays with them, but even she noticed the difference. Anyway, as Vegimal toys they work. If you are adding to a set, not so much.

My three year old is a huge Octonauts fan, and I personally love the vegimals. These figurines are a kind of softer rubber type material, vice the hard glossy plastic depicted in the picture. They are of comparable size to the Fisher Price figurines and complement the set we already have. The paint started to run off of Codish’s nose after a few days, but the little guy was in constant use so I was not upset. A set of paint pens cleaned them up right away.This pack shipped from the UK, so it took a while to get to the US, but the seller was very polite and responsive when contacted about the delay.Overall, very pleased with this purchase!

True to advertisement. They’re small, super overpriced vegimals. My daughter is on a new kick where she likes to toss her toys in the air and let them hit the floor. These poor vegimals have survived certain death numerous times. Seriously tho, they’ve smack the ceramic tile so many times and haven’t broken (yet 🤞🏻). Someone explain to me why they’re so expensive tho?!??!

My children love the Octonauts and adore the vegimals! The figurines are very cute and hold up well. The best part is the little booklet listing the different vegimals, which is included. Unfortunately all Octonaut toys now seem hard to find in stores... thus we overpaid here (fourteen ninety nine), as the original list price was only seven ninety nine - if you can still find it for the original list price - great, otherwise grab them before they are gone!

These are cute however they are a dollar store quality and came with with paint marks all over them and scratches. I wish they were less expensive then I wouldn’t have a problem re-purchasing when needed and giving higher raging.

Very cute and durable toys. Perfect for my daughter’s “vegimals” 1st birthday cake. Small enough for her small fingers to grasp, and she still plays with them many months later.
