Makino Women's Hiking Pants Lightweight Quick Dry Gear for Girls Outdoor

I have two of these wonderful pants in different colours. Absolutely a must have for outdoor and adventure loving people. I am small/size 4/waist 26'' in jeans. Both Makino sizes 27 and 28'' fit me well, are very comfortable, allow another layer underneath, good for sunny weather, but keep me warm and comfortable when it gets chilly, too. 27" might be a bit snug on thighs, 28'' gives more relaxed fit. Length is just right for my 167 cm and trekking boots. I would like to praise very functional construction, lightweight and slightly strechy material, attention to small details. Stiching, zippers, belt are all of very good quality. I used it for trekking to Everest base camp and it did the job! My third pair of Makino pants is different model, sofshell, for cold weather. All the above applies.

They were a little small, especially in the waist, but they stood up really well on my trekking trip in Nepal. I wore them for 5 solid days and they were comfy, stretched out a lil near the end and the light material was nice for the really hot days. Would definitely buy another pair, but get a size up.

Asian sizing, I purchased a size up from my usual size and the fit was a bit tight but fine. I gets lots of compliments on these pants. bends well for hiking. Not really meant for cold weather hiking, material is thin so good for moderate climates when you don't want to wear shorts. Will buy another pair in a different color. Updated review. I purchased a second pair, the grey with the pink pockets and stitching. These were also the 30" waist size but were a bit larger than the first pants purchased, same size. Other than that, I like them and they're put together well.

I put "Fit as Expected" based on prior reviews to order 2 sized bigger than normal!! Normally wear a 6-8 and ended up ordering a large. Great lightweight pant. Packs down to nothing. I wish the rise wasn't so high - waist sits a little mom jeanish. For the price of a hiking pant, these are a good value.

Love these hiking pants! Not only do they look great, they are made very well. I've used them on numerous hikes now and throw them in the wash and dryer and they are holding up very well. The four-way stretch is extremely helpful when doing strenuous hikes that require a lot of contorting. I just recommend going up at least one size. I'm ordering another one in another color

Good quality lightweight hiking pant, dries quickly, has a really stylish look. I'm sad, because it did not fit right so I will not wear them.I bought Makino M131612015 and M131612019 in the same size. Expected a similar fit. M131612015 fit great, very comfortable and worked well for hiking. M131612019 was WAY too small. they obviously are intended to have a different fit - M131612019 is more of a yoga pant fit with a built in belt. But the waistband size was not the same. I'm kind of baffled, because same manufacturer and similar advertising.Using their size chart, I would highly recommend buying M131612015 true to their chart, and M131612019 a size higher than expected.

I love it. However, I thought that the fabric would be the same as another Makino pant I bought before which I prefer  Makino Women's Quick Drying Hiking Pants M131612012 Violet US Medium(Asian XL) . Nevertheless, it is great.

I ordered a size larger based on the reviews and that was a mistake. Returning and already reordered my size, based on the waist size.Pants are great, even though a bit funky looking. Very functional and comfortable. I very much appreciate the fact that the style for women has all the same functionality as men's version. That is a real novelty when it comes to affordably priced hiking pants.
