This is stuff is wonderful. Most soaps immediately declare a war on my vulnerable areas and I was happily surprised to find this doesn't, which was a huge added bonus to the getting rid of the scent that comes with my rollercoaster ride to elderlyness.

I like the smell, it’s very clean and somewhat fruity but not overpowering. It lathers well and rinses squeaky clean! You are supposed to leave the soap on for a little bit to let it penetrate the skin. I left it on for about 3 minutes and then rinsed it off. It does leave a slight scent behind which seems to be the point.

I don't know if it actually affects odor, but it lathers up nicely, has a light pleasant scent, and rinses off thoroughly. I like the little mesh fabric bag, I can hang it up instead of just letting it marinate in a soap dish. I just use the soap-in-bag as a regular bar of soap with my washcloth.
