Emjoi Micro Nail - Electric Nail Polisher - Buffs and Shines in Seconds - Aids Nail Polish Application

Absolutely love this product, perfect to smooth out any slight ridges or catches in nails without a trip to the salon needed. This is not the first unit I have bought & not because the last one broke but due to the cost of refill rollers, you either cant find them anywhere or they cost approx £20 for a pack of 4 (2 of each kind) replacement buffers therefore it is cheaper to buy another unit for £10 that will come with the same 4 buffers. One grey & one white buffer is sufficient to your nails once (if the condition of your nails is not too bad) so you definitely need to be able to purchase refills. Prompt delivery & also bought one for a friend who suffers with uneven nails.

I recall when this unit was launched some years back, and although I wanted one I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it then. The shape of the unit makes it a bit awkward to use and the heads seem to slide off the nail quite easily. It's battery operated so the full power doesn't last long; you'll spend a fortune in batteries and it would have been more effective if it used electricity. I think the best attachment is the buffer; the shine lasts a long time.

I bought this product to make it easier to buff my acrylic dip powder nails, which I have learned to do at home. I tend to do this by buffing with a block, using the coarser head followed by the polishing head, then manually polish using a buffer. It has been a welcome addition to my manicure and made the process much quicker, giving them a beautiful shine. I find it at times a bit tricky to use, if you get the angle wrong it slips off the edge of the nail but I'm sure this is just down to technique. I'm not sure I would fancy using the coarser grading on my natural nails though.

The device is working well, it does a splendid job on my nails, the only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it is not possible to use it more than once in probably 10 days... after a few days the "gloss" layer on my nails is gone and if I try to use it again after a week I feel a sort of hotness, it is possible it is going too deep. Anyway the effect on the nails is amazing, it is not a daily care tool, but it is really worth the money.

This is a brilliant product when used properly, quite a few bad reviews on here but I have found it works very well and has it brought my nails to a high shine, I have also used it on my work mates who have all said 'how good it is', Try it for yourself and see, if not send it back it must have a guarantee.

I wasn't sure whether to buy this and my nails have taken a battering recently after wearing lots of gel polish so decided to treat them. Very impressed by the high shine from this. just be careful not to buff too often or you will weaken the nail. I've been using nail envy after this and my nails feel much stronger and healthier in just two weeks

I saw a demo of the Emjoi on QVC and then checked the price as a comparison on Amazon. It was cheaper and at such a good price I bought 2 to put one aside for a birthday present. The Emjoi does work at minimising nail ridges and the buffer gives the nails a high polish you may think you are wearing lacquer. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I use this on a regular basis. Keeps my nails looking fresh and shiny but this particular item is for a friend's birthday coming up soon.
