Very simple to use and has cut down the labour of tackling that blasted horsetail (used the grass cutting blade), which has helped prevent too much pain for me. Then used the hedge blade to trim back my golden privet, hebes and to neaten a couple of Euonymus Fortunei shrubs. Did find I needed to use both hands at times when trimming hedging. I love the fact you can switch blades which makes it one of the most versatile garden tools I own. Seems to be of a good quality too and although I found it a tad heavy at times, that is my issue and wouldn't be a problem for those who don't have hand/wrist problems. I used it straight from the box and the battery lasted well over 40 minutes, charged fairly quickly and being cordless meant I wasn't liable to trip over cords. Be careful because the drive cogs that activate the blades are only plastic and could be the weakest link in the power train. Replacing a blade is easy it just slides in. Safety device is a contact breaker a steel clip pin that slots in to complete the circuit if it is not in place the trimmer won't work. Beware it falls out of its slot and easily lost...we know... remedy attach a cord to it and wrap around your wrist. Charging is easy and straightforward the included instructions are good and even available to download etc. It works and it is a useful tool ideal for trimming grass around a grave and light work in the garden.
