The iron replaced my old Boots iron(20years) and is lightweight and practical to use. Good value and works well even without water.

Good quality value buy
You can't expect it to be excellent for that price, but I needed basic, good value iron. Ironed pretty creased cotton bedding and the iron did a great job, even without help of steam or water sprayer.

Lightweight iron which will suit people with weak arms
I bought the iron based on the reviews. I was therefore prepared for the thinnish plastic cover for the tank etc. However, I needed a new iron quickly so went for this one. I needed something light and this is light. It breezed through synthetic materials but struggled with creases. In short, it didn't remove them completely. You need a more powerful iron for that. As others have noted, this is a light, starter iron. I'm also not sure how to keep it clean as vinegar is not allowed. So this will be a back-up for me and I shall buy one to deal with creases (which the carer) can use later.

Great little iron, light weight, good heat and spray/steam system. Purchased for holiday use but great for quick jobs rather than the big steam iron

Did not use. Upon opening it was visible that it had already been used, possibly by the "rate 5 star product testers". It was very light and small.
