I purchased this primarily for my teenage daughter to play the latest pop releases. The fully automatic nature makes it easy to use, while the built in speakers is very convenient if you do not want to pair it to a BT speaker or use the RCA line out. You can also use it as a BT speaker, but more that likely you have much better speakers already. Also has headphones jack on back for private listening,but I never tried.
