Tangrams are a game? puzzle? brain teaser? fun? Yes to all. Seven small wood (cardboard, plastic, whatever ) pieces when combined in a set pattern create a square. The challenge when playing alone or with others is to copy a pattern already completed using all seven pieces. Sounds simple, correct? These puzzles are a great price for the quality and quantity given. These are great for my classroom and are the quality you would expect for classroom use. Sturdy enough to not break, but not the highest quality. The only negative aspect to them is that they don’t fit snugly inside the wooden frame. They are a bit loose in the frame with a gap along the edges. This is probably so little fingers can reach in to grab the pieces, but I prefer a tangram puzzle with a snug fit.
