I have a surface Book 1 and it works great. The device creates a calibration profile that is loaded when you boot. The "Calibrated" mode can be turned on or off from the system tray. I often turn it off when doing normal business stuff like excel and word and turn it back on when I go into lightroom or photoshop. REALLY WELL! *by C***N on 9 November 2013* We are using this in our small design practice to profile 2 Macbook Pro Retina laptops and one desktop Mac as well as some Thunderbolt displays. The setup of our studio isn't perfect as far as ambient light goes but this little bugger does its level best to get the displays all giving the same result! I highly recommend this device as the basis for the calibration workflow.
