As for the 2401 driver itself, I really like it for light work around the house....putting up blinds, electrical work, etc. This is not a lug nut remover but a fine, small driver. Plenty of power to drive screws and drilling into wood. **Q: Mine has an electrical flash inside the motor when I press the trigger.is this normal?** A: Yes its a brushed motor. The brushes on the motor make contact with the metal inside to supply electricity. Its normal its the way brushed motors work **Q: Does this come with 1.5ah or 2ah batteries?** A: The kit comes with two M12 1.5 amp batteries according to the Milwaukee website but Amazon says it doesn't. I would not buy the kit until the vendor clarifies. I would get the M12 Fuel Impact Driver instead. Between the m12 and m18’s I have 31 of the tools. So I’m not going to bore you by bragging up Milwaukee. If you’re buying this screwdriver you probably already know they are the best. The reason I’m posting a review is because of the Seller- Jeff’s Garage. Prior to buying I read a lot of reviews that complained of receiving refurbished tools instead of new. I rolled the dice because the price at $78.00 was too good to pass up. I ordered through AMAZON at 745pm on a Sunday and it traveled halfway across the Country and arrived at 2pm on Tuesday with no shipping cost. I’m both impressed and grateful by the timing. It arrived well packaged and EVERYTHING was new. I got the Screwdriver kit. Maybe those who said they received refurbs ordered the tool only? I don’t know but mine was new. New fitted tool bag, screwdriver, charger and 2- 1.5 batteries. Again, great deal at 78 bucks. Quick note on the tool. Both batteries charged quickly and the screwdriver works great! Exactly what I needed when the impact driver is too much tool for the job. 10 ft lbs of torque is actually impressive for this tool. The adjustable clutch settings are pretty good. There are just too many of them. 6 clutch settings is more accurate. Aside from that very small negative comment this tool is awesome. I can’t end this review without one more shoutout to Jeff’s Garage. Great job fulfilling my order in a very timely manner and delivering a great little tool. Thank you very much.
