However, during my initial speed test, I was surprised to find that it wasn't achieving the advertised 5Gbps speed. I was only getting around 2Gbps on my 3Gbps Community Fibre broadband. Suspecting it might be a driver issue, I went ahead and downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website (since I don’t have a CD drive for the included driver CD). After installing the updated drivers, the card worked perfectly, and I started getting speeds close to 3Gbps. Overall, I believe this network card offers great value for money, especially once the correct drivers are installed. So far, it’s working well, and I’m happy with the purchase.
