It always touches people in all kinds of circumstances. And so I came back to update my review. I’m ordering two more copies of this book. I have ordered about 20 copies from desertcart since 2010. And I bought I can’t remember how many copies from Christian book stores in the 1980s and 1990s. When I know someone who is struggling to make sense of what is happening in their life I give them this book. It takes such a simple-minded, trusting girl on the most seemingly difficult path with unquestionably the least desirable companions. And it uses these things to shape her into the most unbelievably beautiful version of herself. I think it might inspire me even more the umpteenth time I read it than it did the first time. Next to the actual Bible, this is my all-time favorite book. I think it’s a must-read-and-must-reread for anyone who needs an answer from God. Don’t put it off. You will find comfort and peace and inspiration, along with some tears. Review: Enchanting - This book is a fast moving story full of humor and surprises. Very engaging and an enjoyable read. Why haven't I read this before now?!
