Works as expected. Easy install no issues. Recently came into possession of an old Dell precision t7400 server workstation that my boss was going to throw out. My sister, who is in college needed a new computer (she rents a basic laptop from school during the school year). I figured with a less than $100 in upgrades I could set her up with a pretty capable computer beyond what she even needs. Computer had a Xeon e5420 (with extra socket for a second, maybe later), 2gbs of ram, old Quadro card, and 250gb hdd and was running xp slow as molasses. Upgraded to a 240 GB ssd and formatted the old drive for extra storage, added this ram kit for a total of 10Gb of ram and a installed Windows 10 pro. Also threw in a gtx 660ti that I had from my rig that was in sli since I rarely utilized the second card anyway. Now the computer boots quick and runs smooth after this ram upgrade. Also, something great I learned during this is Microsoft lets you install Windows 10 without a lisence, it just won't let you customize the look and will ask you to activate it occasionally but otherwise fully functional. Which is great for my sis since she just needs something reliable for school and didn't want to spend hundreds on something that will essentially be a word processing machine/web browser.

Hello (again)Well... I wish that this review could be as good as my 1st one, but I'm afraid not.Although receiving them was fine, the pair arrived w/ a higher serial # than the group that preceded my 1st order.However, staying positive, I inserted them only to realize that one of the pair would not recognize (display) any ranking even after moving them around, and since they are used in pairs, I am unable to trust them.My prior order serial #'s were in the 49 series whereas these two that I received were 59 series serial #'s.For the price that I paid, I didn't want to create a fuss...

They didn't have the exact item available but they provided the Dell original part for my server at the same price, they tested the memory before sending, installation on my end was easy and no problems with the upgrade.

ram is working perfectly, hope no problem in future , in case I will write here aftersales service evaluation too.
