What I liked best about this one is that it is slightly deeper than the original one or the last replacement, meaning that is comes closer to the oven door, covering more area. I don't have to spin a pan around like in the past for even cooking. Easy to install. 100% compatible.

A: I would go to geappliances.com/parts and find the part associated with your oven part number. Then come back to amazon and enter in the ge part number. I found our baking element on the ge website, but it was $115. Amazon had the same part for $15 so it was a no brainer.

**Q: Will it work with ge jb905bh1bb?**
A: Look at the website of the seller and check all the dimensions and shape of the element.  My serial numbers didn’t match but I have a GE and it worked perfectly.

**Q: Will this fit GE model Jbp79a0b4aa?**
A: You should verify the part on the ge website. It fit my ge model just fine but I did verify on website first.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect replacement for our GE range.

When the element in our 16 year old GE range went out, I looked at a lot of replacement elements that vary widely in price. This one had the same shape as the old one, so I figured it was worth a try forthe price. It was easy to install (just watch the YouTube videos) and it works perfectly. If anything it may be a little faster to heat up than the old one, although that may have been age related. Remember that the temperature is regulated by a thermostat - not the element, so don't worry about temps changing in your oven. We have noticed no changes when baking, and we just used the self-cleaning function. The element did fine. It seems there is no reason to pay more when this works so well!
