Nokia 6500 Slide black...is it just me?
I got this phone from 3 when I started up a contract from 3 Mobile about 2 weeks ago now. The phone itself looks nice, and is reasonably nice to handle, but the problems that I have had with it have led me to get an exchange of a different handset.Firstly, the battery life, unlike my previous Nokia phone, lasts no more than a day. This is unacceptable, and completly different from what is quoted in the description of the phone itself. At first I was using the phone quite alot, like anyone would with a new phone...(basically having a play around with it)...so fair enough, the battery would run down alot quicker. But when just occasioanly texing and making a few telephone calls, the battery should last longer than 24 hours...that is just my oppinion, I don't know what you guys think.Another thing I don't like about this phone, is the back casing to it which is covering up the battery. From when i first put the battery into the phone, the casing at the back felt loose and it could easily move up and down, and when it comes to texting this is amazingly frustrating!Thirdly, the other problem I had with this phone was the signal. I have been with 3 mobile for quite some time now, and other mobile phones that I have had with them I have not had a signal problem with. With the Nokia 6500 slide (black) the signal regularly cuts out for me, so I have to turn the phone off and then back on again! This again is very frustrating!Another little thing I have just thought of while writing this review is the fact that when I am on the phone, my hair gets caught somewhere near the screen, (maybe where the metal cover meets the screen itself) which is quite painful when taking the phone away from your ear to hang up!However, a feature I do like on this phone, is the idea to have album artwork on songs that are put onto the phone! it makes it look nice.Sorry Nokia, you should be able to do better.
