Works great
After a close call on the way to work with a mobile camera in a very sneaky spot, I bought the Micro Fuzion that same day and so far (about 3 weeks later) I've been really happy with it. Very simply to install, and the bracket for the windscreen works great. Much simpler that my Tom Tom to put on and off my windscreen.Following some of the other reviews, I do agree that in normal mode it does go off at traffic lights (as most have some form of radar traffic detection on the top now), but to be honest I find it absolute fine. There is a very handy volume knob on the side, and on my daily commute I now know which to ignore. For serving its purpose, I would much prefer the early warning to help check my speed than risk 3 points and the huge frustration of getting caught doing 35 in a 30.For the average joe, it works like a dream.

Working
A lot of false alarms, but if I can live with that if it detects the speed guns. Haven't passed any since I got it.

Not worth a fiver
Having used this product for +10,000 miles in 4 months having gone through many speed cameras of all types, this detector is useless, I would not want it on my dash even if they paid me to use it, it is a total waste of space & effort. It does detect some speed camera, but not early enough by a mile, often you are are going through the camera detection zone when it goes off. It picks up a lot of the M25 cameras when driving in the opposite direction, so again, no use to man or dog.I have an older unit, some 12 to 15 years old, more expensive then and much larger, and I also have the speed camera alert on my Sat Nav, and they are far better than this unit. The one good thing it does detect is the speed detectors that show up your speed as you drive past, but I bought it to help safeguard my licence.

Worked well for 2 years... make sure ...
Worked well for 2 years... make sure you adjust them at the horizon not to the ground or sky.. otherwise it won't respond properly..

I had one of these for 8 years no problem only once did I get a speeding fine because it was switch off My Fault
Received this system only to read it is now discontinued also might I state Might be illegal in some areas , I had one of these for 8 years no problem only once did I get a speeding fine because it was switch off My Fault, So new one fitted it works not tested yet, BUT the twisted cable prevents the cable being lost out of sight which for me is a minus, If a straight cable was available it would help have tried a multi straight cable for 12 volt but the device would not work I think because the 2 cables are not compatable .

Because if they are speed cameras should not work.Anyway makes what they say.

Not worth the money
I bought this after getting a speeding fine through reduced speed zone on a motorway and it seemed OK at first. Then I noticed there were a hell of a lot of approaching speed signs that light up if on or over the designated speed and the MicroFusion did not sound or flash. I thought this odd and unsettling, so I have now bought the Cobra XRS 9945 from Amazon and turned on all of its features. It picks EVERYTHING up, and performs perfectly. The MicroFusion is not worth bothering with in my opinion, as you buy one of these to do what it says on the tin - seek and warn. Also, the range is very short compared to the Cobra. I put the two together and the Cobra won every time, warning much further away, and even around corners a lot of the time (for radar)! Granted, this was only £40 odd, (and the Cobra £115 inc delivery), but needs must and I am returning the MicroFusion for a refund after just nine days. I will advise that I have given the MicroFusion adequate time and lots of roads with known active (and non-active) traps / radars and laser zones and all it seemed to do was either respond last minute, not be clear about the signal strength of the pending trap and took more of an interest in shop door opening radars, despite being switched between normal and City modes (which made no difference). Spend a bit more and get a proper Cobra.
