Review: This stuff works excellent! - This stuff works excellent! Used it for a bunch of raw steel that I welded up for under-counter brackets, vintage ceiling lighting, etc... Was able to make it look super rustic, without the need to simply paint it black. Depending on how much you use, or how long you leave it on, will determine how dark/blackened the metal becomes.
Review: Worked great on a 1911 A1 - I needed to sand down the grip safety on a parkerized 1911 A1 a bit as it dug into the web of my hand. Used the Presto Black Steel when I was done and it came out great. A little darker than the original, but you wouldn't really notice unless you were looking for it. Holding up well.
