I would describe the board as similar in size to a standard skateboard. It measures 29"×11" and is 3/4" thick.

Q: Could I make something similar that is more customized to my liking and that is a fraction of the price?

No I don’t think so. This is a really good price, especially when they do their 20 % off deal. And I think you would need the board to know how it’s made because of the layers and the way the base is. But I really do think the cost of materials vs labor wouldn’t be worth it to make your own unless it’s something you really want to do. ( I thought about it too)
