## Features

- VERY FINE 1500 GRIT FOR SCRATCH REMOVAL: This 8 inch diamond flat lap disc delivers consistent, even-grit lapping that pre-polishes gemstones and removes fine scratches, without the inconsistent bite of lower-grade discs.
- UNIVERSAL 1/2" ARBOR FOR FACETING MACHINES: Fits standard faceting machines and gem faceting rigs as a true lapping plate replacement, seating flush with no gap or wobble during fine finishing passes.
- RIGID SOLID STEEL BASE RESISTS WARPING: A thick, flat steel core keeps this diamond disc running true on the faceting laps and grinding wheels it replaces, cutting the vibration that ruins fine 1500-grit finishing work.
- HIGH-DENSITY ELECTROPLATED DIAMOND COATING: One side is densely coated with diamond particles for even coverage edge to edge, resisting the coating delamination and bald spots that shorten cheaper lap discs' lifespan.
- IDEAL FOR GEMSTONE PRE-POLISH & GLASS FINISHING: Use this fine lapidary disc to pre-polish cabochons and facets, smooth glass edges, and refine marble, granite, and quartz surfaces before final buffing in jewelry making.
