Works as advertised. Easy to screw into the ground. I used a cordless drill and it screwed in just fine even on red clay. I am using 2 anchors and ratchet straps to hold a light shooting house in place. 2 does the job perfectly. Definitely recommend.

I've been using these for a few months to hold down a couple tarp canopies. They went in my minerally-clay dirt without any problems, they've held and haven't broken. Installing with the impact driver was a real pleasure. No complaints.

I used these anchors to hold down a 13 foot Halloween decoration and they worked well. While they were in use we had strong wind gusts (60 or so MPH) and the anchors held strong.I particularly like the option to use the manual wrench or a power drill to drive the anchors.

These are junk, fit only for a small item. The drill option would be great if they actually got through the earth, but they don't. I'll be buying longer straight pins and breaking out the sledgehammer.

With my kids running track in Florida, I always hate staking the pop-up gazebos cause most venues have clay and the wind loves to catch them. These are game-changers. I bring a small impact driver with me and putting 4 of these stakes in the ground takes about a minute. You could secure a bull elephant with these things anchored into clay. The included bag secures everything and removing them is even faster than installation.

Not sure about the "powder coating." The finish does seem like it's corrosion resistant, good enough for short term use, but it does not look like something durable enough (e.g. galvanized) for long term use. It will get damaged if you drive them into rocky ground, of course. I'm going to leave one anchor outside for a few weeks to see what happens.It's good that the anchors come with a hex shank so that you can use a socket to apply the torque. It comes with two socket adapters, one with a standard 1/4" hex shank and one with a T handle. I don't plan on using either, as I have an impact wrench and sockets that will surely be more effective.
