Very bulky, couldn't put it under a jacket, mabe a thick coat... I wanted to wear it all day.. no chance BUT it does what it says on the tin so to speak, no burst bags, stitching is sound.. bags could be abit more secure.

This was a birthday present for my partner but he was very pleased with it and has used it a lot. It is great that you can remove some of the weights and then build up. It was incredibly heavy to wrap and certainly shocked my partner when he received such a heavy present.

Although you get a lot of weight for the money unfortunately that is where the positives stop. This vest is not universal, one-size fits all. I am 5' 7", 72kg but proportionally have large shoulders and the shoulders of this vest barely cling to the lateral aspects of my shoulders, which is (1) uncomfortable, but more importantly (2) annoying due to the very frequent repositioning requirement. Like some of the other reviews have stated already some of the small (850.0g) bags of sand tend to displace themselves, though I have not lost any...yet! The waist straps work for a few minutes before the weight of the corner bags work their way past and below the strap, and you are now jogging in an increasingly 'flappy apron'. This really is quite a poorly designed product and if I could return it I would. If you are serious about exercise this isn't the product for you.

The price was good vfm at the time, and it's relatively easy to get into, once you realise you have to lie back into it to put it on.It's quite easy to breath ok if you don't strap it too tight, and movement is relatively unhundered, given the design.The real problems arise when you start to take some of the 0.5kg weights out and put them back in - for various weight requirements for different exercises, and sustained progression, etc:The individual pockets containing the individual weights, are obviously numerous, which makes this time consuming; which has a knock-on effect on your workout.Also, the weight containing pockets are relatively flimsy and have inevitably deteriorated over time, to the point where the weights sometimes fall out when the vest is picked up or put on.My advice would be to use the vest as a 20 kg standalone - as regur adjustments will shorten the useful lifespan of the vest, by a considerable amount.I think you get what you pay for, and if you want a fit for purpose, genuinely adjustable, rubust weight vest, capable of carrying this much weight - then I think you're going to have to pay quite a bit more.
