Members Mark, Loratadine 10mg, 400 Tablets (Compare to Claritin)

My wife and I have both used generic Claritin daily for years to help control our allergies. This Members Mark 10 mg loratadine is a convenient size with two bottles of 200 tablets each. We have bought repeatedly from Directway Savings on Amazon and have never had a problem. I do like to check the expiration dates on medicines. For the shipment we received in May 2013 the expiration date was December 2014 giving us plenty of time to use before expiration. Loratadine is not a fast acting antihistamine so if you are only taking it for occasional flareups you will get quicker relief with cetirizine instead such as  Simply Right Formerly Known As Members Mark Cetirizine Allergy Tablets, 400 Count . Fortunately, generic medicines such as this loratadine are just as effective as the much more expensive brand names. When you can get them at one tenth the price of the branded medicine as in this case you have found a true bargain.

So amazing to find 400 tabs of 10 mg for so cheap. They seem to work the same as Claritin which I used to buy for non-drowsy 24 hours relief  Claritin 24 Hour Non Drowsy Allergy Tablet, 70 Count . My primary care doc said I can take one twice a day since I have such severe allergies. Along with prescription generic Flonase:  HealthA2Z Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Sprays, 24 Hour Allergy Relief,120 Spray  and allergy eye drops  Visine -A Antihistamine + Redness Multi-Action Eye Allergy Reliever Eye Drops.5 fl. oz, (Pack of 2) , I am able to keep allergies in check.Also, I've noticed for several years that if I take at least 1 Loratadine a day, Mosquitoes are not drawn to me when I used to be a mosquito magnet. Even wasps and bees seem to ignore me. Nice side benefit. Plus I don't have to take shots which made me feel crummy and didn't work anyway.

Such a great deal! Exactly the same as Claritin, only one third the price. Also nice that they supply these in two separate bottles so that I can keeep one at home and one on the go with me as my allergies aren't all year long. My wife also takes them as she is allergic to pets and works in an office with a dog. For this small price we were able to cover my seasonal allergies and her daily needs for over a year with just one shipment.Also these were not almost expired as some companies try to pass by as they expire well over one year from arrival, no worries there.

This time of year I struggle to find relief from seasonal allergies and found myself making a stuffy and swollen sinus trek to the local big box store (ala Kroger) only to find very expensive claritin pills - even the generics were running $25 for a single bottle of these 10 mg bad boys! I knew a better deal could be found, so I trudged out with the smallest size pack they sold to hold me over for a few runny, eye-watery days.Amazon prime is a real time & life saver here. I know if I order that day - heck - even at the Big Box store from my phone - my relief will come in just 2 days and 1/2 price! My sinuses rejoice!The only additional note I can add: I detect a slight minty taste with these generics. The Kroger and Walmart brand generics I have had before had no aftertaste at all, except maybe super mild sweetness. I'm not put off by the mini mint, but if you find mint terrible to taste, perhaps these may not as ideal for you.As for potency, all I can say is my allergies are controlled & I'm grateful for that!

I've been on ... everything. My allergies are legendary. I've cleared out entire classrooms because no one wanted to be next to me. Nothing the doctor gave me ever worked. OTC stuff? Not much. They make you speedy. They make you sleepy. I was on injections for three years. Nothing EVER worked. Even lost a few jobs because my allergies were so bad. Finally about a year ago I was in Germany. The nice lady said I should try this. So I did. It's in a different name in Germany, but it's the exact same thing. This only does one thing: it stops the allergies. Finally after almost ODing on every type you can imagine, I finally found the perfect defense against my dust mite allergy. (Besides living in an almost sterile environment which doesn't last for long.) This is, hands down, the #1 preventive medication I have ever had. Also if I do have an allergy attack, it's gone in 20 minutes - tops. Long way from 2 entire boxes of tissue over 5 hours.

I'm allergic to loads of things, and I live in an area where pollen and mold levels are frequently in the high range. I take Loratidine every day to keep my symptoms at bay. I used to take Claritin, but I see no difference between the generic and name brand beyond the price. This stuff has gone up $1 since I bought it last time--I think I'll let them have the extra buck! Oh, I should mention the bonus of staying on Loratidine year 'round--if you're one of the lucky individuals it works for, your cold symptoms will also not be so bad, and nasal drainage and chest congestion will be a thing of the past. I used to get very nasty colds in the winter with nagging, chesty coughs that took months to go away. I have not had a bad cold since I started Loratidine (about 10 years now).

It is an allergy medication designed to be taken once a day. That is okay for the mild cases of allergy. However for difficult cases like myself I would need to take two every four to six hours depending of the allergy count of the day. They do not recommend that due to it might sent the blood pressure way up. For some strange reason does not hurt me. Many years ago my pharmacy husband said I needed a horse dose of allergy medicine which would kill most people. It does what it is designed to do but only if your a mild allergy sufferer.

I am allergic to cats and dogs and pollen.I have 5 rescue cats and a rescue dog and many, many gardens.I take these daily. They seriously changed my quality of life. One tiny pill every morning and my symptoms are controlled. I highly recommend having these in your medicine cabinet to use prior to any deep cleaning session, home improvement project, or carpet removal.
