Flop in real life
Not as good as the you-tube video made it seems. Fails to produce the fine bubbles needed for optimum skimming/good skim-mate production.

It does what it is suppose to do
This skimmer does what it is suppose to do but it definately has its drawbacks. It has done great at controling my Nitrate levels that I was battling constantly to control. Its down fall is the adjustments. I found it very hard to tune to where I want it. I had to turn back the amount of flow to prevent the bubbles from being blown back into the tank. There are no instructions only a link to a Utube video that shows nothing about tuning it or troubleshooting.

Excellent Protein Skimmer
I have purchased many types of protein skimmers and I think I found one that is the best for "over-the-back" aquariums. CPR's AeroForce 2 is very easily installed. It works great on my tank and it is easy to clean. I would recommend this protein skimmer.

Great skimmer
Was trying to find a skimmer that would work on my jbj 28 gal nanocube with high output LEDs. This one works great and the lid opens all the way, which is a plus. Time will tell how it works, it is a little noisier than the fans but I will continue to tweak the skimmer to see what I can do. The only mod that I had to do was to cut half of the foam out of the hanging basket.
