I've only used sticks, so the resin is new to me.** A: Burns well, especially with powder incense. I have been burning incense for a while and burn resin with powder. You need to put the resin with another substance, like dried sage or some powder incense - perhaps some other dried herb could work too. It will then burn well. I have never burned resin by itself and I don't think it will burn well alone. Burning incense in a brass bowl or plate works well. Hopes this helps! =D **Q: How do you burn it** A: I place a piece in a small rock bowl on top of my woodstove. At lower temperatures it melts and releases the essential oils.
