**Q: I use these on whiteboard but over time some writing eventually becomes 'permanent'....hard to erase.  Any way to get around this?  Thanks!**
A: I'd suggest using the non-permanent markers, Staedtler Lumocolor Non-Permanent Fine Point Markers (STD316WP4A6).

**Q: Did I get a bad batch? Black is very light and "watery" on CD/DVD. Very faint when dry.**
A: Must be bad, I've had 4 sets of these and they are all real vivid in all colors. Black is true black, even on CD's.

**Q: is it a alcohol-based ink pen?**
A: I believe so.  I use them on laminated maps. The marker they use to remove the marks are alcohol based.  I use my wife's acetone as well to remove the marks which works really well. So, yes, I think they are alcohol based.

**Q: Is the 318-WP4 Refillable?**
A: These Staedtler pens are long lasting and reasonably priced, no need to refill.

These work fantastic on sports cards that are paper quality and will work on chrome cards but I’d look into how to prep them so it sticks the best. Good value for the money and doesn’t seem to streak at all.
