Onetouch USB Cable for Lifescan Onetouch Glucose Diabetes Meters: Ultra2, Ultramini, Ultralink and Ultrasmart, Works with Onetouch Reveal, EZSync001

I purchased the EZSync USB Data Cable to use with a OneTouch Ultra Mini meter. It is a high quality cable, and works great!Here are the steps I used:1. Registered for a new account at OneTouchReveal.com2. Installed the OneTouch Reveal Data Transfer Tool3. Plugged the EZSynch USB Data Cable into my Windows 10 PC, and Windows automatically installed the drivers4. Plugged the other end of the cable into the OneTouch Ultra Mini, the display showed "PC"5. The Data Transfer Tool requested permission to upload the data from the meter to the web site6. The data was then viewable via the OneTouch Reveal web appNo problems! I recommend this item.

I purchased this cable as a replacement cable to work with Windows 10. The old cable no longer worked after upgrading the operating system. This cable is long enough and well made. Windows automatically recognized it and drivers were installed. I use it with the OneTouch Ultrasmart meter and the OneTouch software which recognized the meter as expected and began downloading the information from it. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This cable has been great. It allows me to synch my Onetouch device to the monitor and track my readings through the software. I bring the report of my data readings to my doctor so he can track how I am doing. I highly recommend purchasing this cable to make tracking your numbers easier. My only wish is that it were cheaper.

Great cable. I plugged it in on my Windows 10 desktop and a few seconds later it was working. I had previously been using a cable I purchased from One Touch several years ago. Apparently it was a clone of a Prolific cable. Prolific put out a new driver that rejected the clone cable. I went back to the previous driver and it worked fine. Periodically Microsoft would update their drivers and the cable would be rejected again. I found a script on the Internet that would roll back the driver, but when I tried to use last month it was marked as malware and would not execute. I finally gave up and bought this cable vowing to never buy anything from One Touch or Prolific if I had other options.

This cable works exactly has it should. After downloading the software needed for the glucose meter and driver for the EZSync, it found everything quickly with no issues.I believe this to be a better and more reliable cable than one offered by the meter's manufacturer. It is well built and easy to use.I took one star off for the reason the cable is not plug'n'play for my Windows 7 PC as it is for Windows 8 and 10 PCs. A minor inconvenience but since Amazon does not offer a 1/2 star rating option for products I couldn't give it the 4-1/2 star rating it truly deserves.A very good product and excellent value.

If you have to remember to record all blood sugar readings from a glucose meter for review by your doctor, this is definitely an item you need to buy!I had put off purchasing the software for myOneTouch U1traLink meter, but ALWAYS regretted it every time I had to manually write down all my blood sugars. When I finally decided recently to buy the software, I found out it had been discontinued for my particular meter. I've come to realize that one can find and buy just about ANYTHING on Amazon - and I was able to purchase the item from EZSync. I initially had problems downloading the software and contacted the seller who offered to call and walk me through the process personally which I thought was a real nice gesture. However, I eventually went through the download on the the Life Scan website and it worked. The problem may have been my computer - or me! I am able to use the cable interchangeably with both my OneTouch UltraLink and UltraMini. It was great being able to print everything out in anorderly fashion; I should have bought this software years ago!

Looks like a well made cable, but it does not work for me with Windows 8.1 and a OneTouch UltraSmart. Windows recognizes the cable and assigns a com port, but the OneTouch software Ver 2.3.3 fails to find the meter. I uninstalled everything and tried again but no change. I downloaded the drivers as suggested in the provided written instructions, but no change. Have not been able to read my meter since I "upgraded" from Windows 7. Fortunately, I have an ancient Windows XP notebook computer that works well with the old cable and I can export the data to a USB stick and import it into my desktop. There must not be many people that use the data cable feature because Lifescan/OneTouch has always provided very poor support for this and even now, the OneTouch data cables are out of stock on their web site, which is why I bought this cable.****UPDATE****Tried the EZSync Cable on two other Windows 8 computers, including a brand new lap top and it did not work. Finally One Touch got their cables back in stock and I purchased one of those. It may cost $5 more, but it worked immediately and I can download data on my Windows 8.1 computers.

I ordered this to use with a Onetouch Ultra Mini, but the Onetouch software returned errors each time I tried to connect. I don't know if that's the cable not working with the Onetouch app, or the app not being wonderful. I bought a Bayer Contour Next USB meter to use instead of the Ultra Mini. So far it's working out well. The software is much more polished than what came with the Onetouch.
