I'm over 40, with combo (more dry) skin, and this is the best no makeup, makeup for someone older (so definitely would be for younger too) I believe I ordered slightly darker than I thought I would need for my fair/light complexion (but somehow it is the EXACT color of my skin?). It isn't sparkly or highlighty- it is everything you have heard about flawless filter (CT) without the cost and actually does make your skin look more luminous with some light coverage. Probably not ideal for oily skin, but also easily mattified with some powder. I usually wear in areas that need less coverage (forehead, cheeks and nose) and combine with concealer where I need it and a big of higher coverage in areas that have more discoloration (but it really does a great job as a primer for discoloration). Great stuff. Can't recommend it more. I may buy in some other colors to use for contour/bronzing and highlighting. I love it!
