Sturdy, Compact Bags to Make Yard Work Easier, Toss Included Gloves
These yard waste bags make yard work and gardening much easier! They’re easy to put together: Just straighten out the long metal piece, feed it through the grommet in the top edge of the bag and, when you’ve reached the end of the metal rod, tuck it into the rolled hem of the bag. The bag is durable and has a water-proof coating, if you want to hose it down between uses. The straps are made of a thick canvas or canvas-like material. It’s lightweight and can stand up on its own when assembled - but be careful it doesn’t get blown away if it’s windy outside and the bag isn’t weighed own with anything! The opening has a D-shape, so that the flat edge sits flat on the ground if you need to rake leaves, glass clippings, or other debris inside. There’s a strap on the opposite side to make it easier to pick up the bag once full without accidentally knocking anything back out. And there’s a long, carrying strap with a hand loop at the end to make it easy to lift the bag over your shoulder and carry on your back. It packs up easy and flat, so that it can store practically anywhere without taking up too much space or being an eyesore. Before, we used a tarp to rake our leaves onto, carry, and dump them in the woods behind our yard. It was heavy, awkward (especially if the tarp was so full that it wouldn’t fit through the fence door or was too heavy to easily lift over the fence into the woods without spilling leaves back into our yard), and often a 2-person job. This has made that chore a lot faster, especially with the 2-pack so now two people can discard a pile of leaves each instead of having to work together to toss just one pile. It’s also very useful and convenient when I’m gardening to collect and toss infected and infested plants, weeds, and invasive plants. I don’t have to go back and forth to carry unwanted debris to the garbage. I’m also not worried about accidentally dropping any unwanted debris on the way to the garbage, and the weeds potentially taking root again or diseased plants killing my otherwise healthy garden. And because of the D-shaped bag opening, I can just tip the bag onto its skinny side to toss all the yard waste into the bin without worrying about it spilling out everywhere. I could see this being very useful for cleaning up beaches, parks, and other outdoor areas. From an environmentally conscious perspective, I love that these bags are durable for several years of use, and that they cut down on your need to buy yard waste/trash bags that would add more waste to the landfill. I highly recommend these yard waste bags to anyone with a yard or who does any sort of yard work, gardening, agriculture, or outdoors- or nature-related work. The gloves are a little thin for my preference. I did not receive the same gloves that are pictured. The gloves I received run on the small side (an adult small in rubber/medical gloves for reference), are all cotton, have no waterproofing or water-resistant coating, and only have small patches of rubber painted in key places on one side for grip (not a large area of rubber on the palms and around each finger).

Poles only in front top curve.
- Not sure how long this will hold up as the plastic vinyl is not very thick.- You insert the poles yourself and they come already bent up which could affect their memory pattern. I thought /wished that there were poles along the other seams and bottom as well, but just the front top curve. It would have worked better with other seams reinforced as well.

Facilitates Fall Cleanups
Now that fall is here and the trees are losing their leaves it is the perfect time to test out this leaf bag. The bag is made of polypropylene, the same material as you would find with tarps/tarpaulins. It is tightly woven and will resist punctures and abrasions from sticks, though I would not try to jam such items into this bag, to be on the safe side. The bottom of the mouth is flat and 32" wide so you can rest it on the ground and easily rake leaves into it. A flexible frame rod is inserted through the perimeter of the mouth which keeps it open and holds the semi-circle shape in place to facilitate loading. Raking leaves into this bag is easy given the large opening, and handles at the top and rear of the bag facilitate carrying the bag, though it would have been nice if the bag was larger or had more capacity since with all of my trees it filled up very quickly. Just fill, sit the bag upright, tamp the leaves down, then move it back on its side and continue. Transferring the leaves to leaf bags or trash cans was easy enough, the rigid frame rod keeping the opening in shape, allowing for the easy transfer of the leaves to another container or bag. This beats trying to rake the leaves into garbage cans laying on their sides since it is stable and doesn't roll or move around and the opening is larger than a rake head so the leaves go into the bag vs. around it. This is a durable bag that will be very handy for your fall leaf cleanup duties, facilitating leaf and yard debris collection.

Does a fantastic job.
Since we have many large trees on our small property, we are inundated with leaves each fall. We've become pretty proficient with our battery operated leaf blowers but still needed to scoop the leaves into bags so they town can pick them up for recycling. It became very tiresome and bordered on "back breaking" work with all of the bending. This Leaf Bag holder has solved that issue. Now we can blow and/or rake the leaves into this holder and then dump the leaves right into the bags. It's a huge time saver. As others pointed out the piece of metal that's used to keep the shape can cause injury if it snaps back at you so definitely be careful when assembling/disassembling it.Overall we are beyond delighted with it and would definitely recommend it to others. We easily give it a 5-star rating.

Smart product!
This review is for, “Large Yard Garden Bag for Leaves, 40 Gallon, Heavy Duty, Reusable, Collapsible”. This is one of those products that makes you ask yourself why someone did think of this ages ago. I have a square garbage can that I always lay on its side and push leaves into, and then I transfer the leaves from that can into my round cans, which are smaller. The process is a pain but still faster than picking up leaves a rake-full at a time to put into the round cans. When I saw this, I didn’t think twice about ordering it. You can easily rake your leaves into it and transfer them to any other can you need to. This makes life so much easier! There is a grommet at the top loop, where you insert the tension rod. You can remove the rod for easy storage. As for the quality of this bag, once you thread the tension rod through, you can see light passing through multiple spots of the bag. This is a very light duty bag and I’m not sure how long it will last. However, leaves don’t weigh much, so with proper care, I believe it will last quite some time. I would be wary of limbs though. Overall, I do wish it was made with slightly thicker material but I would absolutely order again.
