I no longer find signs of mice where they were previously. You can't hear the first setting, thesecond setting is like a bird chirp and the third one is annoying, but you dont have to use that level. We were given this plug in pest repellent to try and started on the medium setting. It seemed to work well for the first 3 days, but then we noticed pests returning. We switched it to the highest setting and since then it has been much more effective. We haven't seen any mice or spiders for the past few days.
