Furious was actually more like it. This is an excellent substitute. Works nicely and is fine under makeup with my extremely dry and aging winter skin. Has licorice in it, which is the MOST IMPORTANT thing to look for in these anti-redness creams. Really works. Like sulfur for adult acne, I don't know why there aren't more products out there with licorice in them for redness. Don't know why there's aloe vera in it. Sometimes aloe vera irritates my skin, but I haven't noticed any issue with this yet.
