Picture opening that you see is 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"
This is a really cute frame and the resin frame is painted in such a way that you could almost believe it was metal if just looking at it. The glass appears to be glued to the frame so it isn't budging. The backboard is easy to remove and put back in, and the back opening is indeed 4" x 6", although what you can see from the front is a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" view.This frame, and the area all around where I opened it, needed a good vacuuming. The styrofoam which it came packed in seemed to have broken up into lots (and lots and lots) of small bits before arriving here. The box was in fine condition so the styrofoam must have had its breakup sometime during the packaging process.

Really nice frame for the cabin and sturdy.
It is a nice sturdy frame. Design is fun and is a nice addition to my friends cabin. The only problem I had was with the packaging. The Styrofoam was all broken up and went everywhere. Also, the paper picture in the frame was stuck to the glass and was a lot of work to get it out. Required major scraping and cleaning.Overall the frame is great, packaging sucked.
